Attracting Investors to a Start-up: Hempions

An Austrian start-up Hempions needed to boost awareness for their newly founded organic hemp-based food company and raise funds for their Kickstarter campaign.

An initial short winter promo was made, plus a 30-second as a quick teaser for social media stories and posts. Both videos utilized elements of 3D motion tracking to add to the visuals of the text being displayed. Then as the main project, over two full days of filming in the Austrian Alps, the story of these hard-working young entrepreneurs was captured, both with film and photo, on the ground and by drone. Interviews with nearly a dozen people were filmed, along with product filming of seven different meals, and B-roll at three additional locations.

Additionally, over 100 team portraits were taken under an ideal backdrop of massive Austrian mountains, using only natural light and white reflectors to achieve a balanced look and a soft fill of shadows.  These were then used for marketing material and social media posts spread out over a series of weeks, enabling the Hempions team to have additional touchpoints with their audience and new potential customers.
